Shaine M. Smith
For over 25 years, I've helped brands say the right thing, in the right place, at the right time. I've been putting word on websites since 1998. My career started in outdoor and tech content, then moved into deeper structural work. These days, I split my time between content design and strategy, information architecture, UX, and the end-to-end systems that hold it all together.
Building voice, patterns, and decision-making frameworks is where I do my best work, the kind that creates consistent, scalable content without reinventing the wheel every time. Because content may still be king, but information architecture is the crown that keeps it from falling off.
On a personal note, I'm an avid traveler, take cooking and baking seriously, and love photography. In 2015, I sold my house, car and everything I owned to travel the world for 4 years. I've lived in four countries and traveled slowly through 25. I've been a semi-pro rock climber, a bike racer, and can still do a kickflip on a skateboard.
When not working, you'll find me arguing about Oxford commas, cooking something ambitious, or out on my bike putting off both.
